At Process Management Limited, a Puffer Company (PML), the safety of our people remains our highest priority. We are committed to developing strong leaders, building resilient teams, and ensuring we are prepared to respond effectively when it matters most.
As part of this commitment, members of our Emergency Response Team recently completed Incident Command Systems (ICS) Levels 100 and 200 Training. The programme was designed to enhance participants’ ability to manage emergencies and crisis situations through structured leadership, effective communication, and coordinated response strategies focused on protecting people, assets, and the environment.
A key component of the training was a comprehensive crisis simulation and tabletop exercise. During this practical session, members of the Incident Management Team were challenged to navigate a realistic emergency scenario involving multiple operational and reputational risks, including media engagement, injured personnel, and escalating impacts on business operations.

The exercise provided an invaluable opportunity for participants to apply their knowledge in a controlled environment while strengthening critical skills such as decision-making, teamwork, adaptability, and incident management. By working through complex scenarios, the team gained practical experience in coordinating response efforts and managing evolving situations under pressure.
Initiatives such as these reinforce PML’s commitment to continuous improvement, operational readiness, and safety leadership across all levels of the organisation. Through ongoing investment in training and development, we continue to strengthen our emergency preparedness capabilities and foster a culture of resilience, accountability, and excellence.

PML extends its sincere appreciation to Garth Vincent of Business Crisis Consultants Limited and The Energy Chamber for facilitating an engaging and insightful training programme and for sharing their expertise with our team.
