PML marks World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026 with First Aid Awareness Training
At Process Management Limited, a Puffer Company (PML), safety is more than a requirement—it is a core part of our culture and our commitment to one another.
In recognition of World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026, and in support of the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) theme, “Let’s ensure a healthy psychosocial working environment,” PML hosted a First Aid Awareness session on 28 April 2026 in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service (TTFS) Ambulance Division.
The interactive training provided employees with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in responding to common workplace and everyday emergencies. Participants learned essential CPR techniques, how to respond effectively to choking incidents, and the appropriate treatment for cuts, burns, and other minor injuries.

The session also highlighted the importance of recognising early warning signs of distress and understanding the critical actions required during emergency situations. These skills not only contribute to a safer workplace but also empower employees to respond confidently in their communities and homes.
Throughout the session, team members actively engaged with the facilitators, sharing experiences and asking questions that enriched the learning experience. By the end of the programme, participants left with greater confidence, enhanced awareness, and valuable life-saving knowledge.

PML extends its sincere appreciation to the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service Ambulance Division for delivering this informative and impactful session.

Through initiatives such as these, PML continues to foster a workplace culture where health, safety, and employee well-being remain a top priority.
